Heather Mattioni

Choreographer
& Dance Instructor

Heather Mattioni  (Dance and Choreography) is an entrepreneur, intuitive artist, and movement mentor who blends holistic practices with creative expression to inspire multi-passionate individuals on a journey to their brightest, most aligned expression. As the founder of Matti Bright Concepts, Heather is on a mission to help others claim their light, discover purpose, and build legacies rooted in love, empowerment, and self-expression.  Born and raised in Gloversville, Heather comes from a family steeped in rhythm and creativity. Her mother, owner of Carol’s Cameos Dance Studio 184, and her late father, a visual artist and founding drummer of a local band, laid the foundation for her lifelong journey in the arts. From her earliest steps in tap, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop, to becoming a bold Contemporary and Hip-Hop Choreographer, dance has always been her second language; a sacred form of storytelling, healing, and connection.  Heather holds an A.A.S. in Visual Communications from Fulton-Montgomery Community College (2007), where she studied fine arts, media arts, graphic design, photography, marketing, and business. These foundations continue to shape her interdisciplinary approach to coaching, creativity, and personal development.  Heather is certified in numerous therapeutic and expressive modalities; including Reiki, EFT, breathwork, meditation, yoga-based life coaching, and more. She is currently advancing her studies as a Master Holistic Practitioner and Reiki Master Teacher, deepening her ability to support others in transformative, soul-aligned ways.  In recent years, Heather has proudly served as a teaching artist alongside Mike Maricondi, engaging students of the Glove Academy through movement, dance, and expressive arts. Her approach encourages creativity, emotional awareness, and connection, helping young artists step into their full potential.  Heather believes in finding hope and harmony in life’s contrasts; light within darkness, and calm within chaos. She views creativity as a sacred tool for truth and transformation. Whether through dance, visual arts, or photography, she empowers others to express their essence, embrace their journey, and step into a radiant life of purpose.
