Dexter Reilly (Visual Arts / Set Instructor) is a visual artist and performer originally from Somerset, New Jersey. He studied Graphic Design and Silkscreen Printing at Somerset Vocational Tech High School, and Fine Arts at Raritan Valley Community College. Some artistic influences include Michael Leonard, Gustave Courbet, Will Murai, and his late professor Christopher Brand Koep. Dexter's own work ranges from digital media to traditional, from realism to abstract, but tends to return to portraits as a preferred subject. Mr. Reilly also been passionate about performing since childhood, and has spent a lot of time in choir both in school and with his family, as well as a high school production of Phantom of the Opera. Since moving to Gloversville, Dexter has been seen on stage in Trust Your Gut Production’s original adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Demetrius), the world-premier workshop production of Alyssa Rizzo’s new musical, Picture of David (Jason), for which he originated the role, and as principal cast member in Home for the Holidays: A Country Cabaret. He is also the resident graphic designer for Trust Your Gut Productions, having developed their new logo and poster designs.
