She’d do anything for the crown…even MURDER!

Pageant Peril! is a 90-minute murder mystery which takes place at the 57th Annual Miss Baxter Automotive Carburetor Queen Pageant, where three potential winning pageant queens vie for the crown, the scepter, and a year’s worth of free lube jobs. While the hosts take jabs at each other and the stage manager tries to manage things, murder is afoot when the sponsor of the pageant, Daniel Baxter, crosses each participant one by one. But who is the killer? We have absolutely no idea; it’s up to the audience to decide in this deviously interactive whodunit! Pageant Peril includes a talent section (replete with original music), and can fit any venue size or type.
This tongue-in-cheek comedy is rated PG-13 for comedic hi-jinx, some strong language, and suggestive themes .

Pageant Peril! was first presented at The Paul Nigra Center for the Creative Arts in June, 2025, as interactive dessert theatre.
